Flint Cottage

Flint Cottage is a picturesque, terraced, late-Georgian house in the heart of the beautiful village of Wenhaston, near Halesworth, opposite a fine medieval church.

The cottage accommodates up to two people in one large double bedroom with an upstairs bathroom. Flint is the ideal retreat for solo holidaymakers, couples, walkers, music lovers, bird watchers and more. Sunbathers and well-behaved dogs are also welcome, thanks to the idyllic suntrap of a garden at the rear!

Wenhaston, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just inland from Southwold Dunwich and Walberswick, is close to the RSPB’s Minsmere nature reserve - the location for BBC Springwatch. It is the starting point for numerous walks along the coast or inland along the River Blyth to Wenhaston and Halesworth. It is also convenient for festival-goers attending Latitude at Henham Hall and the Aldeburgh Festival.

The Star and The Queens Head both serve comforting home-cooked meals just a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Flint Cottage combines charm and character with comfort and convenience. There is a dining room, a separate kitchen and a lounge that boasts a wood-burning stove. With full central heating, wifi and all the comforts of home, Flint is the perfect home-from-home to satisfy all you staycation fantasies.
