As with many 17th Century timber-framed cottages, some guests may find the stairs to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom steeper and more narrow than they are used to. There is a low beam in the dining room.

The rear garden is enclosed. One well behaved dog by prior arrangement only.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1: upstairs, with double bed, chest of drawers, dressing table and walk-in wardrobe.

Bedroom 2: ground floor, with twin beds, wardrobe with hanging space and shelving.

Bathrooms

En-suite to Bedroom 1: upstairs, powerful shower, WC and washbasin.

En-suite to Bedroom 2: ground floor, shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.

Kitchen

The kitchen is well equipped with built-in appliances, including electric fan assisted cooker, gas hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.

Utility Room

A small freezer, washing machine and separate dryer are situated in the original 17th Century washroom located at the rear of the property. A washing line is also provided.

Living Rooms

Ground Floor: hall, open-plan sitting room and dining area with log burner, comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, telephone, flat-screen HDTV and a good supply of books, and games.

Other

The cottage is double glazed, has gas central heating and is very cosy especially in the winter months.

Towels and Linen

High-quality towels and linen are provided. A complimentary basket of logs is provided during the winter months.

Amenities and Facilities

Hob/ stove, oven, fridge/ freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron/ ironing board, satellite TV, telephone, internet, central heating, pets welcome.

Outside

To the Front: a well-lit driveway providing off-road parking for two cars, a good-sized front garden set back from the road and a terrace and seating area.

To the Rear: an enclosed garden with decked area, table and chairs, original 17th-century wash house with washing machine, freezer and tumble dryer. The rear garden is very private and not overlooked.
